For contractors and trades
MightyBuilder writes a site from the work you describe.
Describe the work you do, the places you serve and the finished jobs you are proud of. MightyBuilder turns those details into the site.
What a trade site is actually for
Somebody with a problem, deciding who to ring.
A homeowner with a leak or an overgrown garden checks three things before they pick up the phone: do you do this job, do you come to them, and have you done it well before. A contractor's website is those three answers and a way to reach you.
What you do, job by job
"Roofing" is a heading. "Shingle and flat-roof repair, inspections within the week, insurance work welcome" is what gets a call. Each service says what it includes, and the ones you would rather not take stay off the list.
Where you go
The towns and neighbourhoods you cover, in plain words people actually search for. If you want, a page for each one, saying what you have done there and how quickly you can get out to it.
Jobs you have finished
Upload before-and-after photographs of your work and ask MightyBuilder to arrange them in a gallery.
Licensed and insured
Your licence number, your insurance, whether you are bonded, in one clear line where somebody looking for it will find it, and not a wall of badges.
What customers said
The reviews you are proud of, quoted with a first name and a town. Paste them in and they are laid out for you.
How to reach you
Your number on every page, one tap to call from a phone, your hours, whether you do emergency call-outs. With Pro, there is also a quote form for the people who would rather write than ring.
What it looks like in practice
Start with a description, then edit the site from your phone.
What you type
“We’re a family roofing company, twenty years in the trade. Repairs, full replacements, gutters. We cover Aurora, Parker and Centennial, free inspections, and we do insurance work. Licensed and insured in Colorado. Emergency tarping seven days a week.”
Then, later, in the same box: “Add a page for Castle Rock, we go there now.” “Put these six photos of the Parker job in the gallery.” “We’re not doing gutters over the winter.”
What you get
- A home page that says what you fix and where, before anything else.
- A page for each service, saying what it includes.
- The towns you cover, and a page for each if you want one.
- A gallery of your finished jobs.
- Your number on every page, and with Pro a quote form that emails you.
MightyBuilder writes these pages for you. You review them before pressing Publish.
Questions from contractors
Do I need to know anything technical?
No. You describe the work the way you would describe it to a customer on the phone (what you do, where you go, how long you have been at it) and the pages are written and laid out for you. Changing something later is another sentence, typed from your phone between jobs.
Can customers ask for a quote through the site?
Yes, with Pro. Your site can have a quote form asking whatever you need, like the job, the address and when they are free. What they send is emailed to you with their address as the reply-to, so answering is just replying. The form can send the customer a confirmation email in your own words too. We do not keep a copy: your inbox is the record.
Can I have a page for each town I cover?
Yes. Ask for one and it is written, with its own address, and listed in your sitemap for search engines to find. Keep each one honest: the jobs you have actually done there and how quickly you can get out to it. A page that only swaps the town name is as easy to spot for a search engine as for a customer.
Can I show reviews?
Yes. Paste in what customers have said and the AI lays the reviews out alongside the work they describe.
What does it cost?
Start on the free plan, with no subscription and no card. Your first site comes with 150 credits to build it, and after that you buy credits only when you want the AI to change something. Pro adds the quote form, your own domain and credits every month. The prices are on the pricing page.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, with Pro, at no extra charge, and the padlock is turned on and kept on for you. Until you are ready, the site is live on a free address at mightybuilder.site.
